Facing the giants
Facing the giants
I want to encourage both young and old and off course everyone in between, men and woman alike; I am pleading with those who hunger for success, you may think that if I have enough money I know that I will succeed, if I have allot of talent, if I become popular and so on, money can not do everything, talent is a bonus but it will only take you so far, but if you work at knowing, loving God and working with God, who and what will stop you. STOP, Pause, consider, think deeply on what I have said to you up to now, once you have meditated and contemplated on this section above read the following scriptures and let God's word become the source of your joy.
Heb 13:5-6 AMP Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] [Josh. 1:5.] (6) So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? [Ps. 27:1;118:6.]
1Jn 4:4 AMP Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.
Jer 17:7-8 AMP [Most] blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is. (8) For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall not see and fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not be anxious and full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease yielding fruit.
Many times in life we go through process that we do not understand nor enjoy but in the end it develops character and courage, you know David was looked down upon, his family did not think much of him, after all he was not even considered or invited to the meeting when the prophet Samuel was sent to select and anoint one of Jesse's son's (David's father) as king over Israel. The good news was that where David was taking care of his fathers sheep and at time struggling with danger, he learned to kill a lion and a bear, with face to face confrontations. 1Sa 17:34-37 NKJV But David said to Saul, "Your servant used to keep his father's sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, (35) I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it. (36) Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God." (37) Moreover David said, "The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." And Saul said to David, "Go, and the LORD be with you!"

You are able to do all things through Christ, He will strengthen you, He is Lord of Lord's and King of king's, He has already made a public spectacle of the works of darkness and He is inviting us to overcome our situations in Him, now look at the following scriptures
Joh 16:33 NKJV These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
Col 2:6-8 NKJV As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, (7) rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. (8) Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
2Ti 1:7 NKJV For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Forgive me LordMat 3:8 NET. Therefore produce fruit that proves your repentance,
The easy part is to apologize or to say I am sorry, but to align your life so that your sorrow is revealed. This is revealed in two ways -----
2Co 7:10 NKJV For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.
Now let us look at one character that knew what this was all about He turned from being a thief to becoming a giver Luk 19:5-10 NKJV And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, "Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house." (6) So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. (7) But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, "He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner." (8) Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold." (9) And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; (10) for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."
The Lord is seeking those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth, are you will to give up your old ways so that you can accommodate God's ways, live the life that God intended for you, He will help you.
